Distractions

Yeah . I ain’t supposed to blog right now but temptation overtakes my head. Besides, I’ve some interesting pictures to share so how can I control myself ? P

Let me start with the less interesting parts first. Well, I can’t really say they are boring, it’s just less appealing to the ending parts. 

On Sunday, I went to Partyworld with my clique ! It has been torturing to resist the urge, and we’re finally there. So in the end, both YuanXi and I tied because we went together. Well, if he did go in secret, I wouldn’t have known xP But I doubt he did yeah . I mean come on, with us, it’s so much more fun ! :X It was the first time at Causewaypoint’s partyworld. I was out voted so we had our “first time” experience in CWP ! Guess it’s around the same atmosphere and everything . I mean, it’s the people who sets the atmosphere anyway so the destination doesn’t really matter.

Jiaying and I were really mean. Display picture. Darn, we should have done it yeah. Can’t believe we didn’t . It was so hilarious ! Gosh. And our inference skills ain’t that bad afterall, in addition we even had some real good creativity juices flowing in our brains. YiLing, Joyce and I were frantically discussing our latest obsession, Boys over flowers. And I just realised today that it’s showing on KBS world. Oh never mind. At least I’ve already watched further than that. Episode 24 is out today ! And guess what ? I can’t watch it because I still haven’t completed my maths tutorial that’s due tomorrow and it would suck if I watch the first half tonight and try to survive the suspense (which I most probably won’t) till tomorrow. Both Joyce and YiLing were crazy over JunPyo. At first I couldn’t see anything in him ! But now, perhaps a little yeah ! P 

Oh. And while I was watching yesterday night, HyunJung was wearing striped shirt with a white sweater . Gosh. It’s totally what I like . As in, I think stripes are really awesome and white long sleeves make a guy look really hot So, he combined it all together. So worth it yeah :X Ahh ! And I was so angry because Joyce said that HyunJung is ugly ! Gosh -_- He’s so cute can ! No taste I was complaining to Jolene and she was agreeing with me so she would go teach Joyce a lesson (kidding . LOL ) 

Okay. Stop the digression. Back to the topic. We sang so many english songs. Sad that YUI’s songs are not inside. Oh well. Can’t sing it then. I wish that they would put in more korean and japanese songs to cater to this wider community ! They would churn more profits ! I had a lot of fun ! Sad that Sharine, WenJia and LingLan couldn’t make it. If not, it would have been so much more fun ! ><”

Yesterday was a little x.x because I spent a lot time on watching Boys before flowers so I ended up sleeping really late. Probably why I’m starting to fall sick but that’s my fault. Hah . Addiction. Not much happened I guess. Except for the fact that while I was walking home from school, I was busy correcting MingSheng’s way of walking. He can’t walk a straight line ! I was comparing him with JiaKiang beside. It was so hilarious. Jeannette and me had a great laugh :X

Now the important point, of what really happened today. It all started with Jolene showing off her shiny hairband. It’s really nice ! I think I’m gona get one too . Always been in love with them ! xD Then I started to persuade Jolene to wear it and she didn’t want to. Husnain joined in the fun and asked me to do it. I mean come on, if I wear it, there’s not gona be much fun because I would look perfectly fine with it right. So somehow the discussion led to Jolene and JiaJie having this match of “rock paper and scissorrs” where the loser have to wear it. Surprisingly, JiaJie lost. So the loser had to wear it and I managed to get some good photos out of it.

The next victim was Husnain . At first he was really embarassed, after that he started to snap out of it and transformed into a super hero as seen in the photos below. YangJie also tried it. We tried to make Melvin wear it but he was too fast for us. Gosh. If not it would have been real fun ! xP

We had dinner at Subway today where the “we” refers to WeiQin, Husnain, YangJie, Melvin and me. Somehow, we started to have this kind of game attitude again and we had to clarify our doubts about what’s the school of  the girls sitting opposite us. Melvin, YangJie and Husnain involved themselves into a match and Husnain lost. DARN again ! Just a little more and it would have been Melvin. It could have made my day ! Oh well. Husnain was fine with it and they just told him without any hesitation so it wasn’t really fun. But it was a fun time overall xD

Maths revision was GOOD. I’m having more confidence with differentiation and integration already. Shall practise and turn my U into an A ! :X My goal is to enter Pyschology and in order to reach it, I have to aim for As and Bs. So yeah ! Maths shall be one of the As ! Go, hwee !

Another encouraging factor was that I passed my Physics for the first time in my entire JC life. Okay. Second time but doesn’t really make a difference :X Happy ~! Shall make sure the pass doesn’t turn into a fail for Prelims . Work hard people, for our future does not lie in the stars but in our hands (:

“Full” dress SYF reharsal

Typing this post all started from WeiQin saying “You didn’t update your blog !” . But I thought I just blogged days ago. So I went to check and yeah. Actually it wasn’t really that long right . Maybe everyone is just used to me blogging everyday and stuff. So now, a little lazy and I can’t be let off huh Which is a good thing, maybe ? I mean, at least someone even reads my blog. Now I’m really lazy to blog because no one tags me so it gives me the impression that nobody reads it and hence no point in updating ? I’m crazy -.- 

Okay . I shall blog now . It’s gona be a long post so be prepared yeah . Maximum pleasure when sipping a cup of hot while reading (:

Starting this lengthy post by 2 cute pictures ! WenJia, WeiQin and me were having this challenge of stuffing marshmallows into our mouth. Well, all of us died at 4 , which was quite sad. We were aiming for 6 ! Darn

Okay . Enough of unglam pictures. Oh yeah. Saw TingHui and we shared with her some. She was joking with me that she’s a big white marshmallow herself so she doesn’t need them . She’s so cute with her white jacket. Looks like a cute white marshmallow ~ D

Next part of the post would be regarding the SYF reharsal yesterday night. It was supposed to be a full dress reharsal, in the end we did not managed to get our costumes so in the end we only had make up on. Well, make the best out of what we have right ?

Used Janice’s really nice facial foam ! Whee . It’s really good. Well, we spent a lot of time doing make up and getting ourselves ready. The hair was a really big issue. For the zombies, they had to make it really messy and all. So they temporaily spoil their hair with hairspray and all. They couldn’t get it down after the reharsal at all unless they get a hairwash immediately with lots of conditioner. For the polers, they had to bun up their hair and get their fringe high up to look smart.

Thanks to the JC1s that came back to help us with our hair and make up. Also, thanks the JC2s who came back and supported us ! Added a lot of fun and laughter around . The guys looked like vampires with the vests while WenJia looked like a vampire slayer when she takes the pole. So they are having different characters already huh . And the “beard” that the guys have on looks so real. Gosh . A little scary. HuiNa looked really good with the dress and Kyung looked a little .. feminine ? LOL :X

One of the JC1s, the tongue splitter, I mean Shawn . LOL . I can’t remember his name, keep calling him tongue splitter because he has this weird skill :X LOL . I mean it’s real cool . Maybe I should take a photo of it and share it with you guys next time . He officially is the “holder” . I mean he was helping us hold on to everything, whether it was make up or the poles . A funny and cute guy . 

Chatted with Jessica . She was helping the polers put on our “sunglasses” ? Yan Nee was helping with lipstick and all. Well. They did a lot and without them, it would be a mess. I mean we would have spent more time . Oh. And, we had a hard time attaining to the “whiteness” level Mdm Ang wanted us to be at . We used a lot of loose powder already but she kept saying that we aren’t enough white still . YingZhu suffered the most because of her pink complexion while I was the second. It was really hard . Well, but we tried a lot. I could feel the layers on my face seriously .

Then, I was busy wrapping the poles with black and silver ribbons which turned out to be really nice when we’ve reached UCC. The poles were glowing with a shimmer of silver and gold . We took lots of pictures while we were doing make up. Here are some, gona get the others from the other people next time (:

On the bus ride there, we were really excited . Everyone was chatting and yelling around. Shawn was sitting in front of WenJia and me, and we started joking around. I forgot what we chatted about but it led on to OG introductions. Oh yeah. Because he’s really quiet and all so we were arguing if he would have fun during orientation. I started joking around that he would introduce himself and then show them the tongue splitting skill . So hilarious. WenJia and me agreed that he looked like a really obedient little boy that talks really little. In the end, I started calling him “ah boy” . Gosh, I sound so old ! ><”

Well, I didn’t really want to take a lot of pictures because I look hideous ! Gosh. It’s insane. It takes much courage to even post them online. But oh well. Forget it. It’s an experience all right. I shall post nice pictures about me tomorrow. Gona go out. Finally ! x.x I’m deprived . LOL .

Went in and had our reharsal . The stage was not very wide but had a bigger depth. We did our markings . Started to get stressed because of the spotlights. Never had so much colours on me before. So it feels really different from choir SYF. A refreshing experience indeed. Nonetheless, we tried our best, did whatever we could with that one hour and sort out any problems we had. Better fix them fast or else we would mess everything up on the important day.

Everyone was really tired when we had our debrief. Daph said that we looked great on stage . Well, in my opinion I feel that she’s only trying to lift our spirits because we had a lot of mistakes as compared to our usual performance. We started to take off our makeup which was a horrendous chore and I ended up having WenJia, Lynnette and Shawn laughing at me . Oh well -_- Jasmine took off her makeup in an incredibly SCARY speed. 

Chatted on the bus with the JC2s! Missed the times when we were in Japan. I was trying to get ShiHui to stop blabbering about what happened . LOL . She started saying ” Don’t know who was drunk. I wanted to upload the video but the file was too big .. ” WenJia interrupted wanting to know what exactly happened and I stopped ShiHui in time. Madeline was trying to add oil to fire and I retorted saying that she was no where better. Let those be our secrets yeah Oh. And I missed sharing the room with WenQi ! Ahh ~ We should go on a trip again and have fun . And meanie ShiHui saying ” where’s your best friend .. ?” I replied ” Wasn’t it yours ? ” and we both agreed that it was Shoanne’s . LOL . Inside joke :X

Reached home around 11 plus. Was really tired. Glad that my dad came to pick me up or I would have died halfway. Yeah . That’s all for the really long post !

Watched Boys over flowers for the whole day today ? From 12 to 18 . Now I’m at episode 19. 

I also did my homework ! And I spent one hour sleeping during Earth Hour . What’s the best thing to do when the lights are off ? SLEEP !! xD 

Okay . Time to continue watching and then, to my cozy haystack !

Disappointment. Overwhelming amounts.

School sucked today. Yeah. You didn’t read wrongly at all. I feel so tired. So tired of everything right now. I wish that I can just have a break from everything, go on a trip, go for a holiday. Perhaps even alone, whatever. Just let me have some time to myself, to sort everything out. 

I wasn’t in the mood to go school at all today. Still crawled out despite my mind’s fierce objections. I guess GP blocktest really was bad. I didn’t even know whatever the AQ was asking at all. I wrote sleeping pills. Craziness. I guess I just can’t be bothered any more. I hated the venue. Why can’t we have proper tables and chairs in the hall instead?

Economics. Worst lesson ever. Disappointment ? More than that. I’ve realised how sacarstic teachers can be. I wonder why . Yeah. I couldn’t believe it at all. My sucky results. Second time I’ve failed. Which was really .. Whatever . Zz . I mean, come on. Economics is one of my better subjects and now, it’s a complete disaster. I wonder what happened huh.

Force an answer out of me? Gosh. I wonder how insensitive you can even be. I think I won’t be able to control myself next time. Whatever. Attitude problem ? You got it right. I can’t believe how realistic you can get. I’ve finally understand what that word means through you. “Thanks” for opening up my eyes and broadening my horizons. I think I can start believing what I first thought was false rumours about you. They are so true. I’ll prove you wrong and shut your bloody hell useless spouting mouth up.

I can’t believe whatever you’ve said. Perhaps, it was just a causual remark of yours. But it hurts, really. And whatever you said just keep running through my mind like there’s no stop button. I’ve to stand up. 

Computing lesson was refreshing? Missed Mrs Liang. It’s been a long time since it was her. She’s still so motherly like and somehow whatever she says will go into my head somehow. Databases huh. And whatever she teaches, it’s so logical till you get it. Even though most of the time, I couldn’t focus at all, kept thinking of whatever I’ve done. Darn. It sucks, but she’ll snap you out of it.

Break was .. yeah.

Physics lecture, we went through the answers for the blocktest paper. Seems fine till now which is really shocking. But the other questions might really be bad. So I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I don’t want such a pathetic death, at least I should still look okay. I’ve a feeling, parent teacher meeting is going to be a “history repeats itself” incident. Damn.

Maths. Well. Haven’t got back the paper but I know it sucks. I’ve expected it already. Spent more time on other subjects instead. Couldn’t expect much from it.

GP . I wonder why I enjoy GP only. Though what we do is kind of weird. Vocabulary exercises and all. Really strange. I mean, I thought we’ll be doing comprehension papers or essays back to back. But that doesn’t seem like the case. And it’s like slacking but doing work at the same time. Weird. The last part of imagining scenarios was hilarious. Really had fun for the first time of the day. Wasn’t in such a bad mood already.

Computing. Shocked that I passed for Mr Ho’s part. Because I really don’t understand what I’m writing at all. Yeah. I need somehow to help me. But I don’t know who to ask anymore. It seems like I’m wasting their time, I just can’t get them right anyways.

Dance was okay. I think I’m starting to enjoy it. I wonder why school is starting to burden me. Ahh . I have absolutely no idea what I’m saying anymore. We did up the poles ~ Now it looks really good. Black and silver ribbons all around them ! (: Well. I shouldn’t be disappointed anymore. Should accept whatever there is. We tried out the space in the hall, shifted all the tables to the side because we wanted to get the feel of the place. Tomorrow we are going to NUS for our full dress reharsal already. Suddenly march is ending and April is gona come. Syf is coming, gotta work hard and get a silver or gold. Do our best people ! (: 

I’m gona get into the nerd mood soon. I don’t want to disappoint my parents and duh, myself. I get disappointed easily. I guess I should make it my motivation. Okay. Time to read my pile of newspapers. Been feeling real guilty for not reading because of the block tests. Now time to repent ! P

Guardian Angel

Turning in for the night soon. So tired ><” Oh well . But I didn’t rally do anything productive today . 

Had physics blocktest in the morning . Paper 1 was a fluke . I literally used srand for it, those who take computing would understand what I mean. In layman terms, I shaded the answers randomly. I couldn’t do them at all. And the first few questions already killed my confidence so it started going worse. Sad . Paper 2 was okay I think. If whatever I presumed was right, I think should be able to get at least a subpass ? Better than maths ?

Been watching Boys over Flowers for almost the entire day today. Gosh. Hyun Jung in the show is so sweet. He’s like a guardian anel ! Though he knows that he stands no chance, he’s still always there for her when she’s depressed . Even for a few minutes, he would still go and meet her and just to console her for a bit. Sometimes he would advice her. He’s always around her . If I ever find such a caring boyfriend next time, I have to thank god for it . In the show, he keeps creating chances for JunPyo and JanDi . I’m sure it hurts for him (as in, in the show) but he still does it because he wants her to be happy. JunPyo is his best buddy so he won’t compete with him . And now, he’s trying his best to make sure she’s happy and also that their relationship is good. Gosh. 

And finally I see him playing an acoustic guitar in the show. Something he’s good at . Smiles ! (: Loves him to bits and pieces. Piano’s great too. Heh . Enough daydreaming. Time to go sleep . I’ll see him in lala land tonight .

I’ll find him one day too, my guardian angel with the acoustic guitar .

Obsession

Just thought that I should blog today, about how my exams were and everything. Been slacking too much lately . For blogging I mean . 

Monday was Maths . Guess I screwed up . Well . There was a principal talk and she told us how important it was to get As because the university courses are really difficult to get in. Second point made was that every year all the JCs are improving so it’s only gona get harder, never easier. I guess I have to really try harder huh ? 

When I reached home, I had that drive and started studying all the way till night for computing . It was the first time I studied for so long ever since O levels so I guess I was a little proud of myself . Today’s computing paper was much better than the maths one . It’s at least do-able ? Maths was really disappointing .

Tomorrow is Physics paper . I hope I can do well too because the topics this time are far more or less clearer to me than the past ones . Good luck to those having exams tomorrow too . When you feel like giving up, remember the sense of satisfaction you would get at the moment you see the good grades you have achieved (:

I love this back picture the most . It was a coincidence . I mean when we took out our umbrellas today I suddenly realised this . I mean it’s quite hilarious in some sense . Thanks Jolene for helping us take the picture . And it’s a little sad that she didn’t take our shoes too . I was wearing red socks and WenJia was wearing her blue shoes . So it’s really a colour tone thing from head to toe . Cool yeah (:

Before I end off, thought I should share this really cute SS501 video . YoungSaeng is really clever . He’s really a professor in love . I mean he knows all these tricks and all . The moment he “tidies” up his hair . Gosh . Hotness ! And he really knows how to use his jawbone ! Brilliance in this . Watch it and laugh for yourself .
