And so .. I was bored. Oh wait. Was I ? Actually I wasn’t. I was just tempted to find out if this is true or not. Well, well. People are just curious and I know it’s really childish to care about this but I think if I should let the matter rest by searching up in the web. So the question is ” Did Kim Hyun Joong of SS501 had plastic/cosmetic surgery ? ”
A question asked frequently. So I googled it . Searched for 3 to 4 pages. And I shall post my findings ! But I ain’t sure if they are reliable or not. Just posting whatever people have said.
Some said that he had done the nose job. But they weren’t any evidence or any about it. In fact, I feel that it looks the same. Well, ain’t sure.
The confirmed one was that he did have plastic surgery ! So if it ain’t the nose that what is it ? Dark eye circles ! Shocking ! Not about him . Was shocked that you can even remove your dark eye circles through surgery. Technology is scary in some sense. And on Sang Sang Plus – Season 2, he mentioned that he was most concerned with his dark eye circles. He even claimed that if he don’t consume broccolli for 5 days, his dark eye rings would reach his nose level. And after removing make up, he have to wear sunglasses to conceal them.
And it seems like he really loves to eat vegetables. This is quite unexpected for a guy. Most of the guys don’t even eat their greens. In “Thanks for waking me up”, HyunJung woke up early (finally) for the last episode and cooked for his members to cook. It seems like he can cook well though it is more of luck than skill. There was this part that really made me laugh. He sliced the carrots into really big chunks and the host was really shocked because normally it is cut into really thin slices.
Then at the next scene, when he feed his members that have just woken up, I saw what he was trying to do. When he fed KyuJung(I think), KyuJung was giving the weird expression and asked what was that. He replied confidently, without even revealing a single bit of lie ” It’s ham “. Then KyuJung ate it obediently. It was so cute ! The last person they woke up was JungMin as he’s really scary. Even HyunJung had no idea how violent he was because normally he’s the last to wake up. As for JungMin, it was a different case. The leader would always be the leader ! He woke JungMin up without much struggle by stuffing a carrot into his mouth.
It seems like JungMin really loves carrots. And that’s how his nickname of horse came about. He suddenly stopped hitting people and became really obedient. It was such a cute scene. They should have asked HyunJung earlier then the host and the other members would not have suffered so much pain waking JungMing up.
Another thing I found out accidentally was that JungMin actually have done a nose job though many people weren’t convinced. I myself weren’t sure. But on one of the blogs I surf, he/she showed these 2 photos.
Actually, I feel that his nose looked better before surgery. So it’s kind of hilarious. Wonder what’s the truth yeah .
HyungJung on the other hand, had his teeth straightened. I think this is not much of a hu-ha because everyone is wearing braces already. So there isn’t much to say and it’s really obvious like the case with YunHo of DBSK.

Sorry, No Offense. I think he had his nose job done. I personally feel that Kim Hyun Joong looks kinda different from last year. No matter what, those pretty boys are very cute!
Actually, plastic surgery is very common now. A lot of men and women from foreign countries are willing to pay huge amount to fly over to Korea to make them look good.

Knowing Hyun Joon, he would’ve told the world if he had had cosmetic surgery!!! And if you had seen his mom, you’d be 100% sure he’s never had anything done to his face because he looks exactly like his dear old mom! On the other hand, Jung Min & Kyu Jong did have their nose job done (their noses were flat and round in 2005 when they first debuted), and baby HJ his teeth, which I don’t think is considered as plastic surgery. If you have followed these guys from day 1, you’d have noticed their changes.

I’m really sorry. Just wanted to share some of my views along. To summarise, I wrote in my post that my findings were that :
Hyun Joong had surgery to get his dark eye circles removed.
Jung Ming had a nose job.
Hyung Joong had his teeth straightened.
Young Saeng didn’t had any.
Not sure about KyuJung though.

i think that hyun joong looks the same but he just gone thinner…
in baby’s case i think that the only thing that i notice about his charming looking face was his teeth,,but now he straighten them up..
i love the way he looked before…it’s cute.

for me, i think that jung min’s nose look the same. and think that hyun joong got thinner and just take the dark eye off. but hyun joong’s look always different maybe it’s just because he more famous so his aura is better lol

.eventhough they had gone through surgery,it doesn’t mean that your gonna stop trying to support them,right??..no matter what part of there body they will change it will still be like them,they will stay the same,as how God had created them not only to be idolize but also to share and help other people who wants to be like them,and people like them should give the others who are curios about themselves,the courages to pursue there dreams..that no matter how you look people will treat you the same,cause they love and care because of who you are and not because of trying to be somebody else your not..(please guys dont hate me for saying these..)…

Actually i heard that khj had plastic surgery on his chin .. I’m not sure if its true but i think it looks sharper now , i’m not sure if it’s true . Anyways , i think it’s a small matter that he had to do plastic surgery for dark eye circles , he had been very busy and he must have had a lack of sleep . I heard he had been so exhausted that he even fainted . poor thing ): Anyways , i we should still support them , they still look awesome ^^

It looks like he definitely had a couple nose jobs and got dental veneers. Earlier pictures from 2006 show a major difference in his nose and teeth. He could have had a chin implant also since it seems sharper now. Who cares? If I had the money, I’d go for it myself.

okay. first of all I want to make it clear that I am a die hard KimHyunJoong fan. Love him to death! <3333 But even so, come on, it's obvious he did get stuff done. It's not a big freakin deal. I know it even if it's not confirmed. I still love him very very much though. Even more because I get to see him in Playful Kiss now xD but yeah. Yes, of course he got thinner because of all the work he's doing, but there is no way you cannot notice the change in his facial features from back when they debuted to now. It's all part of the show business. No one really even cares anymore if people get surgery or not. Anyways, all water under the bridge now. :] I really hope they make a Playful Kiss 2. I’m not fan, but it’s pretty obvious the guy lost his baby fat…

I have an advice for you guys. If you want to chek that if that person has plastic surgery or not, you sahouldn’t check it out through their picture because it’s not very real. before the picture is revealed, they must go through photoshop or something like that and that person already prepare for his pose, he will choose their shape of nose,ect… ( They know how to make their nose more beautiful). You should check it through a video clip or program on TV. From the recent clip ( made in 2010), there are still scence that Jung Min nose that looks very small and it is very …ugly(sorry), so is Hyun Joong nose. And their shapes of nose change constantly in just one clip….

personally i think Kim Hyun Joong just got skinnier, cause his face looked slightly chubbier/wider when they first debuted. it doesn’t seem like any of them got plastic surgery to me though :3 and baby Hyun Joon getting his teeth straightened is really normal xDD
though it IS really popular to get plastic surgery in Korea, it’s a normal thing to give plastic surgery as a birthday gift to 16 y.o. girls now~ so i guess getting plastic surgery isn’t much of a biggy when it comes to koreans~ its like a tradition now

I’m a HUGE SS501 fan and after watching countless videos, interviews, and staaring at pics etc (yeah I’m a creep but I’m sure anyone who’s seen them have tuned into one too aha) I’m pretty sure that Kim Hyun Joong has a nose job.
if you compare him in a more recent video like ‘Please be nice to me” mv or Boys Over Flowers and the ‘Snow prince’ mv you’ll probably notice that his notice that his nose is less broad recently. that’s just what i notice.
but anyways, he’s always looked wonderful so what does it matter? 8D
