It’s so difficult to resist temptation. I dumped all my plans for studying and slacked for the ENTIRE day yesterday. I still can’t believe myself. Gosh, I need some self-control. What happened to all those reflections? I’m just all talk. Got to get myself in hand again.

Anyways, I was out with my family to have Japanese cuisine. Oh well, a non-seaf00d eater being in a Japanese restaurant is completely .. weird and I didn’t have much to eat I guess. Wait, did I? The atmosphere was really bad without my brother around. Normally, he would get really excited and order all the delicious food. But yesterday was quiet. Plain quiet. It’s so weird -.- And my brother really made another difference, the bill. LOL. It’s so much lower :X Oh well, he always orders the expensive and good stuff so yeah.

Oh yeah, and I bought new goggles yesterday! It’s been such a long time since I’ve swam and I’m going to start that practise again! Every Sunday would be swimming day! My dad agreed to join me and we’ll be swimming every Sunday morning at OCC (Orchid Country Club). It’s been really strange without exercising ever since dance was over. Thank god my weight didn’t went up :X But anyways, I’m glad there’s swimming now (: Can’t wait!

At night, I watched TV for the whole night. First up was ????? (The One Million Singer). I have to say that through this program and the one after this, I’ve been introduced to so many good songs. They might be old but they are really good. Also, I’ve found out that my parents know songs that are like almost a decade old. Yesterday, one of the singers sang songs from 1933. They weren’t even BORN yet but hell yeah, they knew the song and were singing along. I was in a x.x mood because I have NO IDEA what’s the song.

After that I watched ???? at Channel 56. I have to say I was so shocked by the Singapore representatives. Especially Ai Jia and Huang Zhi Yang. As I didn’t watch CSS (Campus Superstar), I’ve never heard Ai Jia sang before. Her voice is so good and she started learning to sing at the age of 5. As quoted by TaoZi, at that time, we’re only eating lollipop and she’s already learning how to use her falsettos. LOL. That’s so hilarious but true. I’ve never liked Huang Zhi Yang for no particular reason but he really did his best. I guess they really put in their utmost effort. Two words for him, Soprano boy.

Chen Di Ya was great as usual. I love how she sing. She just has this skill to attract you into whatever she’s singing. She rock! But sadly, she’s out in the second episode ): I’ve watched the second episode and a little of the third on impulse :X I was too fascinated. However, I’m still supporting ???! Gogo!

Oh, anyways, Photobucket is dying on me. I have no idea why it doesn’t want me to upload photos. So I guess, Sharine’s birthday surprise photos are going to be on the wait or I’ll grab them from Sharine and Joyce’s blogs :X

Lastly, just wana share this song. Always loved this song, but I wonder why it didn’t become a hit like the rest of their songs.

I am SO THANKFUL that it’s prelims. So so thankful of it. Seriously, I love prelims. They just help you bloody hell WAKE UP. I’m sure this time my grades are going to be really bad and I’m going to be at the back of the class. I have no one to blame but myself for not studying hard enough. I’m not going to continue rant about how I should have studied and all. No use crying over spilt milk. I’m so gona work hard towards A’s. This is a repeat of O’s I realise. But this time, I’m going to get a really good result, even more shocking than my O’s! Watch out for me people! Time is short but I’ll do whatever I can (:

In the morning I was so worried because I haven’t wrote a card for her yet. So I was cracking my brains to come up with a creative idea and tadah! I saw my felt cloth. Cut it out in the shape of a frog and all. I forgot to take a photo of it so well, when Sharine upload the photo I’ll grab it from her So all of you shall wait till then! All the photos taken today are with others, so I have NONE! It’s going to be a long post of WORDS. I’ll quickly update the photos when I get them :X

And so, Physics paper was a flunk. I’ll get 40/40 for Paper 1 next week!

After the paper, I met up with LingLan. We walked to Northpoint to grab a bite before taking the train to Dhoby Ghaut. And so the plan was to surprise Sharine at Plaza Singapura While we were munching on our tasty Takoyaki balls, we met Joyce and YuanXi! :X They were complaining that they finished their food so fast yet we were strolling and enjoying our finger food

Oh well, we went to get the cake from the Ice Cream stall in Cold Storage. It’s a Strawberry Ice Cream cake After that we hopped on the train and sat all the way to Dhoby Ghaut. On the way there, LingLan and Joyce were camwhoring while YuanXi and me sat at the opposite side chatting about their differences :X

We started to get really worried because there were many water droplets beneath the carrier. We were told that ice cream cakes can only last 30 minutes and the trip from Yishun to Dhoby Ghaut is 29 minutes approximately! So we hurried up the escalators. Then LingLan got caught in an embarrassing moment. It was quite hilarious actually. She tapped her card but the doors didn’t open for her. So in the end the people around were staring at her with that peculiar look. After that when she finally got out, we hid behind the pillars.

She was trying so hard to find us. It was so funny :X Joyce finally broke out in laughter and we continued to hurry to find Sharine. We found at FOX thanks to her sister who were helping us keep tabs on her xD Well, we were too slow and she came out of the shop before we were ready! So we had to follow her with the box of cake lit with candle. It was a strange sight. However we took advantage of it and sang a loud Happy Birthday song! Oh well, we couldn’t help the gazes that were set upon us. They are jealous of the cake LOL.

She was so shocked and touched. Success! We cut the cake in the foodcourt and ate it happily xD It was quite shocking actually, because the cake was still frozen and it was quite difficult to cut the cake. Thanks to those ice packs placed under the box, the cake didn’t melt. We had a fun time taking pictures and all.

Then we walked to Somerset MRT. On the way, we thought of something fun to do. Joyce then came up with this dare idea. We had to make the birthday girl do 18 dares. The first dare was to take photo with the models outside PS. Everyone was looking at her and all. Well, that was the point Then we started springing up weirder ideas like getting a mobile number from a guy or singing in the middle of the street. We also suggested that she could stop in the middle of crossing the road, point into the sky and shout LOOK with a bewildered look on her face. Finally, we settled to asking a stranger to wish her happy birthday.

So she mustered up her courage, bought a packet of sweet in 7-Eleven and requested politely to the counter lady “Today is my birthday, can you wish me happy birthday?” Before she could finish, the lady already wished her with a wide smile on her face. Those shoppers in the store also wished her happily. I thought it was really cool. Singapore can be a better place with smiles and all! It’s not impossible I guess xD We even took a picture of Sharine with the store lady.

We wanted to continue but decided to let her off for fear that our birthdays would be the same. I swore that I will stay at home all day to ensure that this would not happen.

We chatted happily on our train journey home.

Yeah, that’s about it xP I thought this dare game was quite cool. We can use it during birthdays!

Okay, time to get my weekly manga feed. Going to study very hard for computing paper and physics paper on Saturday to Tuesday!
