You know what’s amazing? I didn’t switch on my computer for the whole day yesterday! I mean, it may seem lame to some of you out there who rarely touch their computers. But, me! A computer addict! That’s so impossible. I shall take it this is one step nearer to becoming a NON-computer addict. Anyways, what was I doing the whole day yesterday that made me so determined not to touch the computer? Actually, it wasn’t determination. It was because I was nowhere NEAR the computer. Shall fill you in right now.
I woke up around 8plus in the morning and ate a bun for breakfast. I wasn’t in the right mind as it was the first time I had to wake up so early to go out. So half of the time, I was just doing it half-conciously. And probably due to that, I spent one whole hour getting ready to go out. I couldn’t think straight so all the clothes I tried on couldn’t match each other somehow. Secondly, I’m really running out of clothes. But I didn’t want to repeat whatever I wore out so yeah. In the end, I cleared my mind and finally decided on what to wear.
I know it’s very normal and I also agree with you that I was insane to think for SO LONG. But anyways, I met up with JiaYing at Sembawang Mrt Station. As usual, both of us were late. In the end the meeting time of 10am dragged on to 10.30am. We then sat the train all the way to CityHall.
She started to share with me all the ghost stories she heard from her seniors. Oh, and she’s going for attachment soon at SGH. Congratulations Sharine. You won’t see her :X LOL. And so, one of the stories that freaked both of us out was this.
One part of their job was to follow the “Sister” every night to do rounds around the wards in the level. In every hospital, there’s this senior nurse and stuff and “Sister” is also one of them. So one of the nurses told this senior at attachment to follow the sister around if she comes around. When the sister came, she just followed her around. At first she thought it was just kind of weird why the sister didn’t speak to her at all. Normally we would just assume that she doesn’t want to say anything so we would keep our mouth shut. In the end, she felt that it’s really weird. So she asked the sister why she didn’t say anything. So the sister turned around and spoke to her. But the point was, when she open her mouth, it was just a huge black hole. The senior fainted from what I heard from Jiaying. And the reason for that sister was that in the past, she kept talking about the others behind their backs. So people cursed that she would get mouth cancer. She got it, and died from it as a result.
The best part? It involves SGH. LOL. She was busy telling me that somehow, all the stories involved SGH. And the scariest one of course belongs to Alexandra hospital. The oldest one in Singapore. Then she continued on telling me the hilarious experience they had when they visited Sharine the other time in hospital. Apparently, they went to the wrong floor at it was B1. When the lift doors opened, they were surprised as it was exceptionally cold. But they didn’t think anything out of it and continued walking. That was then when one of them saw that one of the doors wrote “Mortuary”. As usual YiLing freaked out and ran to the lifts followed by the others one by one.
I guess this won’t happen if I were there. I mean seriously ! B1 is always the mortuary. Darn, Couldn’t go, which was such a pity ):
After that she showed me photos of her blood test and all. She was trying to influence me to go nursing. Come on. I think I’ll probably faint everyday. I’m not really scared of all these, it’s just that I would be happier without being in contact with all these. LOL.
When we reached CityHall, we went to had our BREAKFAST! Had roti prata. It’s been such a long time since I’ve had that. Food was expensive in Suntec City. Oh well, expected since it’s town. Then we went to this Japanese store that Jiaying wanted to buy her pen from. Saw many snacks that I’ve seen when I was in Japan. AHH ! I want to go Japan again! It’s such a beautiful place.
And FINALLY, we settled down in Macdonalds and start doing our work. It was such a unfruitful experience as I couldn’t solve most of the problems and I kept chanting ” When is YuanXi coming?”. I would always ask him when I have a maths question to solve. Then we started to digress from studying, which was EXPECTED. The worst part came when she showed me the trailer to “Orphan”. I watched it on my IPod Touch and I was totally .. appealed -.- That’s what happens when there are two horror flick fans together. Anyways, the trailer really looked good.
And as predicted by Yuan Xi, we didn’t end up studying. The point was, he joined in. LOL. We met at Dhoby Ghaut. He wanted to go to PC Bunk and we were opposing to it violently. We might just end up being stuck there.
We then went to buy the tickets and food. When we were buying our food, Jiaying and YuanXi was trying to tempt me to buy icecream. They kept saying that it won’t hurt and it’s really nice. Somehow, I managed to not succumb to temptation. They gave up soon after.
During the movie, there were a lot of “Oh my god” coming from the mouths of the audience including Jiaying, YuanXi and me. I mean, we can’t refrain from it. I really LOVED the show. It’s great. Shall talk more about it later at the end of the post. And for those who wants to watch it and have not caught it yet, do NOT spoil yourself. It’s too good of a flick to miss.
After the show, I had to go home. YuanXi and Jiaying on the otherhand went to study. I wonder if it was successful. LOL. I doubt so really :X When I reached home, I joined my brother watching Family Outing. He’s addicted to it too after I FORCED him to watch the episode of LeeJunki. Initially, he couldn’t see the appeal of the show, but I kept persuading him. He finally gave in and has been spending most of his time watching it.
Anyways, today I’m going to watch NDP! It’s been such a LONG time since I’ve watched it LIVE! Not on TV guys. SO EXCITED ~! :X The best part is still FIREWORKS ~ Can’t wait. Shall take a lot of pictures and then update my blog at night. So wait for it yeah
