Blog’s down again. Totally sick of it. Maybe I should just change back to a blogger hosting site instead. It’s unfair to me if we’re paying for it and they say that my blog is generating too much traffic when it’s the same as when I’m using blogger.

I’ll think about it and try to solve the problem.

Well anyways, yesterday some of us went to celebrate Melvin’s birthday. A little belated but it’s good if he enjoyed it.

WeiQin and I arrived at Orchard at around 4pm. We had to buy Melvin’s birthday present and finally settled on a Border’s gift card. Meanwhile, we were trying so hard to restrain ourselves from buying books. I really wanted to get the new Dan Brown book.

After that, we went to shop around Orchard. We found pieces of clothes that we really liked but the queue for the fitting room was really long and it dampened our shopping mood. In the end, we had to give them up. Right now, I’m still thinking about that neon pink cotton shirt at Forever 21. I’ll pick it up some time! Don’t let it get off the shelves yet, PLEASE!

We met up with the rest at Swensen’s in Orchard ION. GuoBin, HanWee and ShunYu were already in the queue. WeiQin and I could have actually went to queue first! But we have no idea where Swensen’s is ><” It wasn’t actually a long wait though we were waiting for 13 people in total. Meanwhile, we took a picture of the girls! (:

Well, there’s a reason why Jolene isn’t inside. She’s late!

We finally made it into Swensen’s near 6pm. GuoBin, HanWee and ShunYu sat together. Jaslyn, CheeWee, ZhiPeng and his friend sat at the other. The rest of us which includes Jolene, Jeannette, WeiQin, Melvin and JiaJie sat at the other.

Jeannette and I hit the cake trays immediately. Got some Tiramisu, cheesecakes, brownies and Chocolate Fondue marshmallows. A pity I didn’t take any pictures because it’s really good! Well, my phone is still in the repair so there won’t be any pictures until … I get it back. Meanwhile, bear with my wordy blog posts!

I couldn’t believe that I was already half full after I finished the cakes. Next, we went to get some ice-cream! 5 scoops of ice cream were all it takes to finish it all up. I got some Rocky Road, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, Yam, Cookies and Cream and .. Blackforest I think. I can’t really remember. Then we got some really nice toppings. The best part is that you can add a whole lot of toppings without having to pay more.

I mean its a buffet! Added Almond slices, almond bits, mini oreas, crispy cookies, peanuts, marshmallow and chocolate fudge and many others.

While eating, we had a good chat and joked around. The combination of JiaJie and Melvin leads to a hell lot of laughter. JiaJie was commenting that Swensen’s workers have a lot of arm strength because for the whole day they have to scoop ice cream for the customers then he did that exaggerated action of it. We just continued laughing like crazy.

Melvin then fabricated this story of Jolene and WeiQin minimizing time while queuing. So the story was that while waiting for their turn to get ice cream, they finished their cakes on their plates. After that they queued again and ate the ice cream they gotten. So the process continues. Well, the truth was that they only gt a serving(5 scoops) of ice cream. Placed the plate on the table and went to get cakes. The only reason why he made up this story was because they spent a long time getting them.

In the process, Jolene received many calls. One of them was from YiWen. All of us were trying to guess who was the caller. Melvin and I thought it was Joyce while WeiQin guessed correctly. Then Melvin guessed that the conversation was about baking. WeiQin heard something about washing while I concluded that the caller was trying to get help to remove some stain or something. So in the end, Jolene revealed the answers and WeiQin and I were right. Melvin then continued saying “That’s why guys can never understand girls” which sent all of us laughing.

Anyways, the winner of this entire buffet competition was GuoBin who managed to eat up to 30 scoops of icecream. Melvin, JiaJie and Shunyu managed to have 15 scoops. WeiQin had 11 while Jolene had 8. I had an unofficial of 8 where the 3 scoops were finished by Jeannette in the end. I have no idea how much scoops the other table had but they were the ultimate winner because after we stopped eating, they were still eating.

While waiting for them, we were bored and played Zhong Ji Mi Ma. I have no idea what’s the name of the game in English but the point of the game is to avoid guessing the number. Jaslyn was the one who came up with the number and the contestants were Melvin, JiaJie, Jolene, WeiQin, Jeannette and me. The punishment was this cheesecake mixed with salt, melted sorbet and a few drops of chocolate, mixed with salivas of others.

Somehow, Melvin and JiaJie managed to escape from it and it ended up with either Jeannette or me. Jeannette guessed 13 and I managed to escape in scraped pieces. Jolene was commenting that she has never seen me so stressed up, not even during Preliminary examinations. Well, so Jeannette had to reap what she “sowed” because the mixture was mainly made by her. She commented that it was almost tasteless with everything mixed together.

The girls except Jaslyn then went to have a short shopping session. I wanted to get some flats but couldn’t find any that I fancied. Then we hit the shops selling accessories as WeiQin wanted to get bangles.

I was just walking around in Diva, when this really cute bracelet caught my eye! It had a lot of animals. I remembered there was a giraffe and most importantly a penguin! There was even a matching necklace. Now I was thinking I should have gotten it! In the end I got 6 pairs of really cute earrings (:

Sorry for the blur image, this is what my phone can offer right now. Ain’t the penguin and frog ones really cute? There was another set that has kittens, dogs and other animals but I couldn’t afford it. Spending $32 on earrings in one shot, I just couldn’t do it. After that, Jolene and Jeannette left to find the others while WeiQin and I went home. A last picture we asked a passerby to help us take (:

The way you act like you care simply pisses me off. I’m so tired right now. I don’t wana care anymore. Say whatever and do whatever you like. I’ll just shut you out of my world, if that’s what you want.

Ain’t in the best mood right now. I’m thinking about MY foolscap pad that I have absolutely NO idea where I left it. Gosh, I think it’s gone now. Wonder where it is. My AQ answers are inside. I wonder why’s everything going down. I need some luck! Where are you my lady luck?

Anyways, it seems that every morning I would see this sight that simply disgusts me. I mean, it’s too puzzling. I do not get it at all. Every morning, when I alight at Yishun Mrt station, I would see many people waiting to board the train. The point is that they gather around the door but do not go up so they “form” a barrier in front of the doors. It’s so weird. I mean if you DO NOT want to get on, why not just step aside and let others do? They are just blocking others from alighting and boarding. It’s like some human wall that exists for no purpose. Fine, if you say that it’s crowded. Then just MOVE! If you ain’t getting up, there ARE people who wants to. Please, spare a thought for others.

I think I’m going insane every second.

Anyways, today WeiQin and I went to crash Melvin’s house. He didn’t go to school today because he was sick so we came up with this plan to visit the sick. And so, we needed to find out if he was at home. So I “called” Melvin to ask him about Economics homework.

Me: Hey, are you at home?

Melvin: Yeah. Where would I be? (sounds surprised)

Me: Oh, I just wanted to ask you about econs stuff.

Melvin: WHAT?! You’re asking a sick person about econs?

Me: Oh yeah. Sorry! I’ll call Jennifer instead. (I was trying to get off the phone now that we’re sure he’s home)

Melvin: Nono. Just ask me. What’s the question?

Me: Err.. It’s okay. I’m not going to ask you. I’ll ask Jennifer. (Actually, I have no question at all and I was trying so hard to find a question to ask)

So we ended up arguing for a little while.

Melvin: JUST ASK since you already called.

Me: Okay okay .. (So I continued on making up some WEIRD question or concept that I don’t understand)

Melvin: You’re welcome. Where are you?

Me: Ehh? Oh. In school. (I couldn’t say I was at home because it was SO noisy. I was at that time with WeiQin in Northpoint)

Melvin: Oh I see. Okay. (He was suspicious of the purpose of my call)

And so I managed to get off the phone. WeiQin and I then went over to his house with a bottle of herbal tea. When we reached the storey of his apartment, we were shocked to realise that there’s NO such unit. Apparently, WeiQin got the unit number wrong (wonders how Melvin managed to get her christmas card when the address is wrong). But nevertheless, she already made the call to ask him to open the door. While she was on the phone, I saw this really cute dog at the door.

The thing was that she’s SOOO quiet and so furry. I started to “communicate” with it. Finally I said bye to it while we continue to search for Melvin’s apartment. Then we heard the sound of keys and we realised that THE DOG WAS MELVIN’s. Which means, for the past few minutes we had been at his door all along but luckily he didn’t realised it. It was pretty hilarious actually. The dog is so cute. Name’s lady. Should have taken a picture of her. Oh but she doesn’t respond to anyone but Melvin.

Also, Melvin is such a irresponsible owner! He didn’t cut her nails and we could hear the noise of her nails coming into contact with the floor. Futhermore, her fur is SO long and he didn’t even trim it. Singapore is so warm, I bet she’s getting heat stroke soon. And the last thing, he doesn’t brush her teeth -.- What kind of owner is this x.x The best part was when we asked what was the dog’s name, he took a moment to remember it. Lady should get a new owner! She’ll be pampered if her owner is XueEr!

Today is one of the days that I enjoy out of the five days in school for ONE sole reason. Ain’t going to type it here :X I think its too dangerous after what Mr Ho said during Computing lesson. I mean, I knew it all along but sometimes you just forget and yeah, ain’t gona take the risk.

Anyways, I can’t believe I didn’t die right from the start for Maths ASP today. Usually its too cold and I can’t concentrate at all. I think the candies and chocolates passed around really helped. Oh yeah, and I wonder whats wrong with YangJie. He was insane during Maths ASP. He started showing weird expressions, those that you can’t undersand at all. The most scariest moment was when he had a bunch of sweets that MingSheng brought to school on his desk. He didn’t spoke a word at all. He just started taking the sweets one by one and arched an eyebrow. In other words he was asking if I wanted one. I shook my head and said no. Then he took the other. The strange thing is that the sweets are of the same flavor. I think the cold got into his brain or something.

Okay. Time to go for dinner and homework! (: Right now, I’m listening to Ft Island songs! I think they’re soooo good. And I wonder why they have so much anti-fans. But its good that they look at the positive side. The show “Let me sleep here tonight” is hilarious. I’ve only seen SuperJunior and Ft Island featured in it. Yesterday I watched the Ft Island’s one. Song SeungHyun is so cute! They are all so funny. HongKi’s voice is amazing (:
