No idea why I’m blogging at this time right now. Just found out that my friends have finally uploaded the pictures for Graduation Night so yeah, I’m here to finally blog about it! No doubt, I’ve forgotten bits and chunks and here and there but I’ll try my best to recollect them (: So here goes a post that was supposed to be posted, LONG AGO!

Ps. I’ll upload the pictures next time. Kinda lazy to do it now.

Last Friday as most people know, it was the END of examinations but it seriously didn’t feel like it and instead of getting that huge burden off my shoulders, it became heavier, loaded with my worries ): I’m seriously worried about my results and am prepared to retake them if I need. (Of course I hope it doesn’t come to that)

WenJia came around my house at 2pm. It was drizzling so I went up with a huge umbrella to fetch her from the interchange. She brought this really nice white high heels that I would never buy because I can’t even walk in them. I have been wearing heels since I was like.. in Secondary school? In the past, heels were my favourite, especially wedges, right now, all of these are a no-no. I’ve been wearing flats for many years and a little heel can just wreck my day.

And so we started our makeup session which ended up with a failure. We “took” lessons from Youtube MakeUp Gurus, chose BubzBeauty. I love her! She’s so cute and her lessons are so clear! In the end I helped WenJia with hers which ended up really well. She was so satisfied with it that she kept commenting about how good she looked which was a compliment for me since I did it (: Never knew it would turn out good. Well, it sucked for me. I guess its easier to help others no matter what since you can’t really see for yourself. Glad she liked it (:

After that we changed into our dresses and board the train to Yishun. It was kind of weird because everyone was staring at us! Mistake, WenJia. LOL. Because she was wearing this really nice clean cut black dress which showed off her curves and totally told everyone that she’s attending Graduation Night. Thank goodness she had a shawl on or the number of gazes would have increased. We walked to school in our heels (for her, and a little for mine).

Took some pictures while getting into the atmosphere. Many people really heeded to the dress code, smart casual while others went over but still managed to get the well-liked attention by others. To enter, we had to give our names and classes, get a door gift (for mine it was pink, which was… cool) and a “bracelet” which was actually just some black plastic thing worn around our wrists. The thing about it, people like me who are overactive would play with it and it becomes too tight because it can’t be made longer after you pull it and yeah, I had to suffer with it after I made up my mind to change it with the councilors after a couple of hours.

After that I sat with CheeWee and Shannon who were the early birds of our class while the rest of them arrived much later resulting in a lack of seats! We took some pictures after some persuasion from RenZhi (actually it took none. LOL)

Then came a call from Jolene and Jeannette who have finally ARRIVED in school. I think they had too much fun dressing up each other but it was worth it seeing that Jeannette put on a decent dress and not her white and black attire (you know what I mean). So thumbs up for Jolene! (: She was super proud of herself while I kept comparing Jeannette to WenJia who had her makeup done by me. In the end we decided to call it a draw.

Graduation Night finally started with food which was cheered on by all of us whose stomachs were growling. We waited for the teachers to start the ball rolling while some students who gave in to their hunger starting to fill their empty plates with food provided by the caterer. Food was okay but lacking in amount because most of us still went hungry! Or maybe some people were really hungry that night (trying to make their 25bucks worth it?) Who knows.

After that, the best event of the night. Treasure Hunt. The guy started to list the items needed. Lipstick, blusher, handbag… A couple of us felt that something was amiss and we were right when he mentioned the last item, a guy. So the game was to dress the guy up in those items named. Guess who went up too? Renzhi! I have the entire makeover process in my handphone! Haven’t uploaded it yet but I would tomorrow! Then everyone would know how a normal guy can transform into a beautiful (ahem) lady in 5 minutes, which was the time limit. We learnt that teamwork was important and we could see that potential makeover artists started on their first project or maybe not, and trying to do the best they could which resulted in amazing outcomes. Some really became a lady, I mean, it was so close to looking as a female! :D

*Good things are worth the wait, so this would be updated when I wake up! Actually, I ran out of brain juices ><” *

It’s not my forte. you, her, him, everyone is the same.
