Bicycle gang!

15 Aug

Wanted to type this post yesterday but my brain couldn’t work properly so I decided to heed its advice, gave it the rest it needed and now I’m all fresh and energetic (: This would probably help when I need to regurgitate whatever that happened around.. 20 hours ago? :D

Lets just skip what happened with our Accounting test since its all the same, smiles and tears. It’s all over so lets not dwell over what’s over!

With our SUPERB planning skills, we managed to settle our transport and place in one hour and the girls got to hop on the cars while the other guys went to get more transport vehicles. Wow. That sounded so scientific or something. Well, anyways, the girls split themselves up, some went on LipChung’s and the others on KarWee’s car. PeiYu, Laura, Jasmine Kok and I boarded LipChung’s.

Once I went on, I saw this poor strangled tigger who was on the verge of death.

Look at its poor neck, hanged to death!

The entire journey, I tried hard not to look at it but in the end I gave up and changed its position.

Look how happy he has become!

I was trying to act all passionate about being a animal lover and wanted to report the case to SPCA. LipChung then retorted saying that I was a dangerous person and need to reconsider about giving me a ride next time. Joked and wanted to get off the car.

After that was awkward silence… so I tried to break the ice by saying “What an awkward silence. Almost seems like a matchmaking session.” I guess I chose the wrong words to say because Peiyu was definitely against it. Oops.

Well, so I tried to salvage the situation by displaying my paparazzi skills once again. Started to snap photos of everyone in the car.

First attempt.

Told them honestly that it wasn’t good but I decided to upload it anyway! LOL :P Peiyu was so agitated. LOL :X So being a “good” person, I decided to take another!

This time, it was definitely much nicer but I guess Laura still ain’t pleased with it. In the end I gave up and start taking pictures of the others instead. Here’s Jasmine Kok riding shotgun.

And the focused driver who we nagged several times to NOT TURN AROUND.

Here’s another picture of Laura and me! Taken by Jasmine Kok.

Thats when my random hair craze started. LipChung’s rear mirror was in a very good position and I could see my hair perfectly. I realized how nice my hair colour was. LOL. I started to just keep commenting about how I love my hair and stuff till they got totally “irritated” about it. Knew they were just teasing around. Hahas. Weak attempt in trying to brighten up the atmosphere :X

The others on KarWee’s car.

I did double confirm that it was his. Have to confess that I’m not that much of a car lover so I can’t recognize their cars even though I’ve seen and ridden them so many times ><” Boo! Whenever my dad and brother start up a car topic, all I could do was try to listen and increase my knowledge in this field. All I know is I want to get a red Maserati which they agreed that it is beyond my means. Hmph. I’ll earn earn earn earn earn and get one!!! :X Maybe I should focus on getting my license first.. LOL.

Just to sidetrack a bit, I need to explain why I want this car. One FATEFUL day (boring enough?), I was on the bus, on my way to school. It was a red light. I turned my head and I saw this really pretty red car beside me caught my eye. It had this emblem (can I call it this?) with the shape of a crown. The driver had the hood up and it was sooooooooo gorgeous. Absolutely. And guess what? It was a female driver. Whoo! Thats when I told myself I would get a car like that in the future.

Thats me and my dream car. A little too far to reach. Haha. Well, enough digressing. On our way there, Peiyu was telling us stories about tunnels. She recalled when she was watching this random Taiwan variety show where there was this guy who was telling everyone about his bone chilling experience. His car broke down unlucky in the tunnel and he had to dismount his bike and push it at the side of the tunnel. In Taiwan, their tunnels have openings at the side. When he was pushing it to the first opening, he saw unidentified beings dressed in colourful costumes. At first he ignored it but when he reached the next one, he saw exactly the same ones. Pretty freaky for a story told in the 7th lunar month and would be even scarier if it was in the night.

Luckily Singapore’s tunnels do not have any openings. So I guess we’re kind of safe.

And so in half an hour, we reached EAST COAST PARK! Thank the guys for their cars. If we have taken public transport, I think it would have taken us more than an hour to reach our destination. And definitely after 5pm or something.

We met up with the rest of the people at Macs. Abi arrived dressed with a baseball jacket which got JasKok and I hyped up and started talking about SNSD and their pink baseball jackets. We also realized that she had Monopoly Deal! Guess everyone’s crazy about this game. I’m actually thinking of getting a set myself too!

After finishing our meal, we started to snap more photos.

Our cute OGL!

I was demanded to take this by SH. So I decided to put in some professionalism and made them position themselves properly before I took the photo.

After some time, everyone managed to gather and off we go to cycle! Placed our bags in the cars and walked to the nearest rental shop nearby. While walking there, Shah was bewildered on why Abi and I were wearing an outer jacket. I replied that it was a plan to double the effects of losing weight. He then gave a comment that seriously made me laugh. “You thin already you want to lose what? You want become flat is it?” LOL.

When we reached the shop, everyone was pretty confused because it has been some time since we have actually ridden a bicycle. We and our unhealthy lifestyles! Spent a long time sorting out everything. So meanwhile, its photo taking again for me!

While waiting for the others.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usForgot to mention this funny incident. I guess I’m not a safe cyclist after all. There was this set of stairs in front and because I was so focused on not losing the others in front, I went down the stairs instead of the slope. In the end the chain of my bicycle fell out ><” I didn’t even know there was a slope at the side! Blehs. Well, had to trouble Shah to help me fix it and got his hands all dirty.

After that, we rode all the way to the HDB flats to satisfy everyone’s KOI cravings. Actually not everyone but most of the people, especially Sandy.

SLURP SLURP.

Reason for his awkward smile? He got chided by Jasmine Kok who told him not to act cute. In the end he did not know what pose he should give which resulted in an awkward smile. Hahas.

Everyone enjoying their KOI drink!

They drank watermelon and honeydew juice instead. Well. I have to say that KOI is a little overrated. Not sure why everyone is crazy about it or maybe I’m just ordering the wrong drinks. The honey milk tea seems a little too sweet for my preference and the ice cream milk tea isn’t that bad but not really to the point of addiction.

Guess there’s no need to elaborate on why is that so. Oh. Before that, Liana and I ganged up to tease him by slurping our KOIs with exaggerated faces in front of him :P

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Seems like some shop opening event except the cutting of the red ribbon is changed to the poking of straw into a KOI cup.

Sandy, the happiest person of us all.

After that we asked someone to help us take a picture of the “Bike Gang”. The photo is with Yangchun and I’m not sure when he’s gona upload it since he got this reputation of not uploading photos :P

Boo. Actually, I felt a little weird riding all our bikes there because we were obstructing the way, especially during those squeezy pathways. I could feel everyone’s glares and how they were unhappy with what we were doing. And it was pretty dangerous crossing the roads with our bikes :l

We went back and returned our bicycles. JasKok, Laura and I were staggering. We couldn’t walk properly because of the long riding. Jun Qi claimed that he couldn’t feel his butt anymore which I couldn’t more agree to that statement. Plus I think it has been a long time since I’ve actually exercised. Felt a little dizzy and couldn’t walk straight x.x Thanks to Laura, I managed to get to Macdonalds to wash my hands and meet up with Jin.

Walked back to the others and started discussing on where we should have dinner. Finally decided to go East Coast Lagoon Food Village. Laura and I were so tired and didn’t want to leave LipChung’s car when we reached the place. Just wanted to sit inside, relax and enjoy the air-con. Managed to enjoy for only 5 minutes and the others all arrived. Saw this romantic scene. SweeHong was in Karwee’s car with the hood up. Hahas. Jin, Laura, JasKok and I were like “Wow. So sweet! LOL”.

Eh wait. But how did we ended up waiting for the others to arrive in the hawker centre? Okay. My memories are all mixed up. Never mind. Anyways, each of us occupied a table and Jin was telling us how this is a popularity contest. I predicted how LipChung would win this contest. When they arrived, everyone started to settle at his table and I was like “SEE! I knew it. LOL” Fine. It was apparently more of a “guys went to LipChung”, except for Jiajun who just sat down at the nearest table, which was mine and the girls separated themselves to the other tables.

Played Monopoly deal and had SATAYS! Heh. We were SO AGITATED over the game. Gosh. So addictive, definitely more addictive than KOI. LOL. We taught Shah and Laura how to play the game and started to get so tensed when others were starting to win. Had so much fun. In the end we got so high and hot because of one mind game.

The others were drinking and eating. Junqi got drunk and walked to our table. He wanted to come “Cheers” with us when he realized that our table was just opposite a muslim store so he went back to his own table. After that, Liana came along and explained what happened actually. We then realized that Junqi was drunk.

Chatted for awhile more, finished our last Monopoly game and we left the place. Somehow everyone managed to get a ride back.

LipChung drove Jin, Swee Hong, my brother and me home. While on the car, we started talking about Teletubbies and how scary they were. Also talked about SNSD :D Jin’s home feels really eerie ><” The lights are so dim! Ah. And Lipchung nearly bumped into her dad’s car while reversing. LOL.

My brother and I reached home safely thanks to Lipchung. Well, I guess he managed to find his way back. Sembawang is a ULU place to people who don’t live at the north. Little people have even heard of it ): But well, I’ll make it more popular!! HAHAHA.

Okay. End of post! Shall organize another activity soon! (:
