So nervous right now that I can’t blog. I can’t even think straight. I need a good rest but I can’t fall asleeeeeep! It’s either I die now or I’ll move on to Uni. I seriously hope it’s the latter.

Short of manpower!

Someone totally ruined my day when I was rushing to catch the departing Marina Bay train at 12pm. Well, its actually not his fault but I really detest the part when I have to quickly shove all my belongings into the locker and then run to the computer to clock in. That totally sucks. Forget it.

And so, I arrived at work at approximately 12.57pm. Nearly late, but not (: Team talk was pretty short so my day started with Cashiering. I knew the day wasn’t gona be a good one with such a bad start. As what I’ve expected, I was transferred down to B3 to help with the fitting room duty due to short of staff. The major difference between B2 and B3? The hectic level goes down by a significant value. The better part was that the guys that I served were really polite unlike some of the customers at B2 fitting room.

All thanks to Dominic, who went for his break, I was stuck with fitting room duty way past my time for break because there was no one to take over! In the end Alicia came down to replace me which made me feel pretty bad ><” I had economical rice for lunch. $3.60 which included rice (duh!), potato, peanut and ikan bilis and tofu (:

During lunch, I got to listen to a seriously… unrealistic drama of what made Jaslyn, Dominic and I friends. It actually went like this (I’ll just type whatever Dominic said) :

JCs have these kind of sport events when schoolmates would go over to the hosting school to support their own people during matches. On this day, Jas and EngHwee went to my school (MJC) to support their friends for soccer tournament. So I kind of “jio-ed” them and then they dropped their phones and it switched. So they were angry when they realised that I actually “jio-ed” both of them. Thats how they became best friends.

The best part of this story? People actually can get convinced by this -.- Davis still asked if its true. I was like “how can it be true”. So unrealistic. At least the one that Jas made up about her and me switching phones were still okay. Dominic’s one is just too exaggerated!

After one hour break was running! I guess I’m pretty fast at running I mean the fitting room “running. Oh wait. Actually I’m pretty fast at running too, for long distances. Anyways back to the point, I ran most of the clothes on the shelf in half and hour so yeah Was quite proud of myself.

Then was our favourite, CASHIER!

Somehow when we wanted to go for break, we landed into the fitting room mess. It became a dumpsite for clothes literally which meant one thing. Many people tried but didn’t buy. That’s not a good thing because it wastes manpower and of course, doesn’t make us hit our sales target ):

After around 1 hour, we finally managed to go for our half and hour break. PAU is LOVE

Cleared up during the night without having teamtalk because the shopfloor was in a mess. Guess we’re short of manpower.

Oh. Before I forgot, Minji came and visit us during her offday! She had this butterfly top which was so cute

Ah, and it’s Alicia’s last day which was pretty sad. So fast!! We only started to get to know her and now she’s gone~

HAPPY DAY!

Been so long since I’ve been happy

Yesterday was a great day! I was still feeling the jitters when I was on the train. As usual, I had my stomachache due to phobia of work. Yes. It’s that serious. More importantly, I was only a few minutes to being late so I didn’t had time to go to the washroom before clocking in. So I kind of endured it till the team talk was over. Oh, before that, I have to say I was lucky! Normally if I arrived at that timing, team talk would have already started but nope. It haven’t! Furthermore, it was delayed. Lady luck was seriously on my side.

After that I went to check my duty rooster, expecting some really detested duties. NOPE! I got so much cashiering duties! Super happy Love being a cashier! And so I spent one hour doing my favourite duty till Jas and Minji came to fetch me for break! Normally, I wouldn’t even remember that its my break time -.- I would always forgot and then go for break later.

My brother came to visit me today so I got my rainbow toe socks and hot pink tank top! Was too lazy to try the tank top on so I just got M. If I can’t wear it, I’ll slim down till I can. LOL :X Oh. He also bought me pretzels! But I didn’t eat it during that break though. Had Tori Q (: We also got a treat from Simon which was all thanks to Jaslyn ~ This and that happened which led to Minji, B3 WeiLing and I having free bubble teas! I’m seriously falling in love with Chocolate Oreo with mini pearls from Each a cup. It’s super nice! I’m so glad mini pearls were invented because the big ones really suck. They aren’t chewy and sticks to your teeth. Mini ones on the other hand are super chewy and makes you addicted to them

One hour break passed and I suffered for two hours as FRONT. Actually it was quite okay with Cheryl and Weiling, at least I didn’t feel so awkward being the only one greeting. Somehow or the other, I served this lady for almost 1 hour. She just went to Japan’s Uniqlo and told me how good it was. Made me recall about last year’s Japan trip. Oh, I mean the year before. I love JAPAN! DAISUKI Ah. And Uniqlo in Japan is really HUGE. Its a whole building by itself and sells a lot of clothes. I remembered they sold clothes that Singapore only had after a few months.

And so, I helped her pick out a lot of clothes, most of them were what I wanted to get too. LOL. Does it show that I have good taste or she has? Or maybe both of us do (:

Helping her was actually a blessing in disguise because I ended up having the same break as Minji and Jas. Ate the food I brought from home which made me seriously bloated ><” I was also forcing others to have a taste of the pretzel my brother bought for me. SUPER NICE! The cheezy taste rock! Even the others loved it. They came back for more! I couldn’t finish both the food and the pretzel so I kept them in the small locker that I share with Jas -.- Which was a totally bad idea because I had a tough time trying to get all my things in.

The rest of the day were cashiering! Sometimes I wonder why some customers could be so polite and friendly while others just put on a really irritated face and ruin each other’s day. Weird huh. But being a professional, we have to provide the best service no matter what we are made to face. Guess thats the learning part of the job (: And I really love to serve people from overseas because they are so polite! Except… okay never mind. I shouldn’t mention it here.

There was “drama” again which upset the other customers. So weird. Making a big fuss out of everything and also contradicting ownself. Oh well, I wasn’t the one who served the customer though. If it was me, I’m sure I don’t have the patience to actually give in and all. Guess there’s more to learn~

Work ended with my cashier id! No more “you were served by TRAINING” on the receipt. You’ll see my name! Aren’t you flattered :X WAHAHAHA OH. BEST PART. I got my pay! 900bucks plus after subtraction of CPF. One day made a huge difference to my net pay. And it’s time to get new shoes!

Overall, I had to say I felt really good because I managed to help lots of people! The exchange policy in Uniqlo is that you cannot exchange leggings and I told them to check. In the end they realised it was the wrong length and was thankful for my reminder. Super happy for that (: Glad to be of service!

Ah! A few days before, there was this guy who mentioned that my fingernail colour was nice. LOL. When I heard it I was like “HUH?”. Then he repeated it again. I was like “oh okay. thanks” Quite surprised for that coming from a guy.

Before I forget, Khai was asking me about my fingernails. One hand was yellow and the other was transparent. I replied “because I had only one off day. One hand for one off day”. So by Friday, I’ll get coloured nails on both hands! Having one coloured and one not is really fun because you get to trick people. I tricked Jayson during break time. It’s REVENGE for lying to me! It happened like this:

He was saying that I have yellow nails. So with my near hollywood acting skills, I gave a surprised look and said “huh? I didn’t paint” and showed him my “uncoloured nails” hand. He was like “ehh?” and was thinking over and over again. In the end, he concluded that he had something wrong with his eyes. After a few moments, he saw the other hand and found out the truth. It was so funny! That moment of TRUTH That’s what you get for teasing! :X

Okay. Time to SLEEP! Shall continue watching Invincible Youth and WGM when I wake up. Sweet dreams people!

Work work work work and work. Just this one thing has sucked up all my FREE time. Okay. Maybe not. Its sleep and work. But sleep is a basic requirement right. So I guess all the blame is on work now

Well, I haven’t posted on my Korea trip yet and its been so long already. I’ve not even gotten the photos from my aunt though part of it is with me. Ah. I’ve not even LOOKED at the photos yet -.- I really should find some time to go over to my aunt house and look at them, put them into my computer and upload it (:

Yesterday we saw another celebrity again! And it was Ain who told me AGAIN! I’m sure she’s a fake malay. LOL. She knows more chinese stars more than me I think. Especially all the mediacorp actresses and actors. She claimed that she don’t watch Suria often which supports my stand!

I had my lunch brought from home. Tasted pretty good Then went to choose my new uniform for work. And what does that mean? NO NEED TO PAY FOR MY PREVIOUS UNIFORM WHICH COSTS $188plus! So this time, I’m gona get something real cheap :X

Oh. And JAY-SON LIED to me. He said that today was his last day. Ain was the one who let me in on this. Then after that I went to ask him about it. He was shocked and said “How did you know? It’s top secret!”. I think its top secret because it ain’t true! I went to ask Belinda about it and she said with confidence that he’s lying. SUPER lying. I’m gona confront him today!

Okay. Thats all. Oh. And I decided to lose 10kg. TEN KG! I’ll hit that! Seriously! DETERMINATION GIRL (:
